Just wanted to highlight I love the ‘networking’ opportunities woodpeckers do for parents like mothers/Father’s Day, Christmas disco and the beach trip. I think it’s so important to give parents an opportunity to meet somewhere other than the rushed passing in the car park.
This then expands ‘the village’ of support for everyone and encourages the kids friendships outside of nursery.March 2026

We started Abigail at Woodpeckers at the start of 2023 we have had nothing but a positive experience so far. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and caring. Our little girl seems to really enjoy her time there and it is a relief knowing she is happy and content each day. It’s also great seeing her do lots of different activities such as painting and going for walks. We highly recommend Woodpeckers and would personally love to thank all the staff there for making it such an easy transition for us as a family.

I can honestly say sending Theodore to Woodpeckers has been one of the best decisions I have made. I was nervous at returning to work but Woodpeckers have made the whole process worry free – Theodore settled in so quickly and been a happy attendee ever since.
I find the staff to be kind caring and professional. I really feel they know Theodore, and it is a family atmosphere where staff are very approachable. They do a wide range of activities and look like they have so much fun. I am very reassured that Theodore is safe whilst at nursery. Safeguarding seems to be taken very seriously and I trust staff at Woodpeckers. The food seems great; it’s lovely having home-made food on site.

We were welcomed on our visit which confirmed our view (as career teachers) that Woodpeckers was the place for Joel.
We loved the family vibes, the zones both inside and outside for different age groups and activities and the possibility of exploring the music which is such a big part of both our families lives. We loved the fact that Joel will be going out with nursery staff on walks and visits.
You have more than exceeded our hopes and we are loving seeing him develop personally and through your tapestry messages and photos. Thank you so much for being a home to home and for Chloe being his second mummy.

My granddaughter Lilly has just begun her journey from baby to growing up at Woodpeckers. She has today come home a smiling happy girl and it is clear that the attention and kindness she is receiving at Woodpeckers is Testament to her being placed there and the warmth she is clearly being shown by those who look after her. It is always a concern when little ones join a nursery but definitely the right choice in Lilly’s case!!!!

If I could leave much higher star rating to Woodpeckers, I would. Both my kids love it; one year old doesn't look back at me when I drop him off, off he goes to play right away and greats the staff with smile. He comes home very happy after being there. All staff are so nice, I will be sad when he goes to a big school. My now 7 year old, has met friends for life there; every time we go past, she remembers the days she used to go there and loves going in to get her brother now. Such a lovely place.

I cannot fault Woodpeckers; the staff are fantastic, caring and knowledgeable, and my son loves attending. The activities are superb and the child lead learning opportunities are just what I'd expect from such a well respected nursery.

My daughter has attended woodpeckers since April and absolutely loves it. The staff are brilliant, they helped her settle really well initially and now each morning she asks if it is a nursery day as she looks forward to it so much. The range of activities and outings are great and not to mention the lovely home cooked lunches! It really is a home from home environment.
